YOUR HOSTS AT CINDER RIVER LODGE I’m Lance Kronberger, and along with my wife Nikki and our two children Stryder and Keelie, we own and operate Freelance Outdoor Adventures.  Our business was founded in 2003 after 10 years of guiding hunters and fishermen in Alaska, Idaho, Nevada, Arizona, Oregon and Mexico. 

There were many options but the good Lord led us to Alaska, where we have made our home.  We are a Christian family, with a found respect for the blessings we have received.  Freelance Outdoor Adventures has been blessed in so many ways, and we would like the opportunity to share those blessings with others.

I try to spend as much time as possible in the field guiding hunters and fishermen, but always remember to put my family first.  Nikki is heavily involved in the business, taking care of the office duties and corresponding with the clients, along with being a mom and a wife. 

We feel very fortunate to have been able to surround ourselves with great guides and pilots within our business. Our business philosophy is not based on one individual’s idea of how a wilderness adventure should be, but rather the concepts of other successful outfitters.  We have worked with, and borrowed years and years of knowledge and experience from other outfitters and put it all together with our outgoing personalities to give you what we believe will be one of the greatest experiences you’ll ever have.
